Detailed
I. Excellent and long-lasting thermal insulation performance
Achieving the lowest possible thermal conductivity is the ultimate goal for all insulation materials. Extruded polystyrene boards are primarily made from polystyrene, a material that inherently boasts low thermal conductivity; moreover, the extrusion process creates a dense, honeycomb-like cellular structure that further enhances its ability to impede heat transfer. Polyenergy boards have a thermal conductivity of 0.028 W/m·K, exhibiting high thermal resistance and a low coefficient of linear expansion, all while maintaining exceptionally low thermal conductivity.
II. Excellent Water and Moisture Resistance
Extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards feature a tightly closed-cell structure, and the polystyrene molecular structure itself is non-hygroscopic. Moreover, there are no gaps on either surface of the board, resulting in extremely low water absorption and excellent moisture resistance and impermeability.
III. Corrosion Resistance and Durability
Conventional rigid foam insulation materials tend to age after a few years of use, leading to water absorption and subsequent performance degradation. In contrast, extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion and aging, as well as superior thermal insulation properties; even under high water-vapor pressure, they maintain their outstanding performance, ensuring long-lasting durability.
